Terms and conditions
Effective 2026-10-22 · Version 2026-10-22
Your agreement for using SHEEDance and managing bookings, payments and class plans.
Using SHEEDance
These terms cover the SHEEDance website, portal and mobile app, and bookings, credits, vouchers and recurring class plans purchased through them. Contact [email protected] or +61 450 488 312 for assistance. Read these terms and the privacy policy before creating an account.
Use accurate account information, keep sign-in credentials secure and use the service only for lawful purposes. A parent or guardian must manage children’s accounts and registrations and have authority to provide their details. Tell us promptly about unauthorized account activity.
Bookings, prices and payment
All prices and balances displayed by the platform are in Australian dollars (AUD). Review the class, date, attendee, venue, discounted total and cancellation terms before paying. Discounts depend on eligible classes, attendees, dates and coupon conditions; a quote does not reserve a place.
A class place is subject to availability. Card checkout creates a temporary pending reservation; opening Stripe or returning from checkout is not proof of payment. Check your booking for confirmed payment status. Account-credit payments debit the displayed confirmed amount. We recheck availability and pricing before payment; a changed or expired quote must be reviewed again.
Receipts describe the recorded payment. Contact us promptly about an incorrect charge, balance or receipt. Do not make another payment solely because a payment confirmation is delayed; check your account and contact support first.
Cancellation and refunds
Review the cancellation notice period and refund options shown for each booking. Eligible self-service cancellations can return the recorded net amount to account credits or create a request for a manual bank transfer. Bank refunds remain pending until staff confirm the transfer. A request is not confirmation that money has been paid.
Where an automatic original-card refund is available, the service submits the remaining eligible amount to Stripe. Other cancellations and payments require staff review. Refunds use the amount actually charged for the selected classes after discounts and earlier refunds. Processing and the time a bank takes to display funds may vary.
A refund or credit must not exceed the remaining eligible amount after recorded previous refunds. If we cancel or significantly change a class, contact us to arrange the appropriate remedy. These cancellation rules do not restrict any right to a refund or other remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
Recurring monthly plans
A monthly plan reserves weekly places in the selected class or classes during the eligible subscription period. Review and accept the displayed AUD monthly total before continuing to Stripe. The displayed subscription discount applies to the combined plan. Monthly billing continues until cancellation. The plan is separate from one-off bookings and account credits.
Manage subscriptions through Billing. You can choose to end a plan at the end of its paid period, or cancel immediately and request an eligible prorated remainder as account credits or a manual bank transfer. The calculation uses the verified paid billing period and subtracts refunds already recorded for that period. Pending bank requests require staff to make and confirm the transfer. Check the effective cancellation date and paid-through period. Failed or incomplete payment may affect future entitlement; contact us if a charge, schedule change or cancellation is unclear.
Credits and gift vouchers
Account credits can be used for eligible class bookings and are not a bank account. Gift vouchers currently have no expiry or maintenance fee. The full remaining voucher balance is transferred to one account on redemption; do not share the redemption link with someone you do not intend to receive the value.
A credit movement, voucher redemption or payment retry must not create duplicate value. Contact us about lost voucher links, incorrect balances or refunds. Any account closure and balance settlement is handled with support and applicable consumer rights.
Participation and safety
Dance and fitness involve physical activity. Follow instructor directions, choose activities suitable for you and tell us about relevant safety needs. Parents or guardians are responsible for providing accurate child and emergency-contact details. Medical/treatment permissions and any class-specific acknowledgments are separate from registration acceptance.
Any participation acknowledgment is subject to rights and protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not require you to give up Australian Consumer Law guarantees or other rights that cannot be excluded.
Website forms, content and third-party services
Contact, class-registration and newsletter forms on the public website are currently frontend previews and do not deliver a message, create a booking or account, or create a subscription. Use the published contact email or phone for enquiries.
Use SHEEDance content for personal purposes unless you have permission for another use. Stripe, sign-in providers, maps, WhatsApp and social-media services have their own terms when you use them. We may make reasonable changes to the service while respecting paid bookings and applicable obligations.
Account closure, service changes and disputes
You can request verified account deletion in the app or on the portal’s public account-deletion page. Recurring billing is cancelled during verified deletion. We retain necessary transaction and consent records; contact us to settle outstanding balances. Account deletion does not remove a debt, forfeit a balance or extinguish consumer rights.
We may restrict access to investigate fraud, unauthorized use or serious breaches, while handling existing bookings and balances fairly. Contact us first so we can investigate a booking, billing or account dispute. You retain any right to seek assistance from a relevant regulator or consumer-protection body.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Victoria, Australia, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Material changes will be dated and communicated where appropriate; existing accepted text is preserved and paid bookings are not retroactively repriced.
